Hi,
Thanks for joining me.
My name is Steve Parker and I am just starting out as an Internet Marketer. I wanted to keep a journal of my efforts in becoming a successful online marketer and keeping a blog seemed to be the best way of recording and sharing my journey. Writing helps me to clarify my thought processes and acts as a form of meditation. Hey, I can’t quite get comfortable sitting cross legged and chanting. Besides, I have a really bad back.
To you, my reader (all zero of you at present!) I make a promise. I promise to be totally honest with you and will share my inner thoughts and feelings about what I’m doing and why. Hopefully we’ll both be able to grow along the way. I’ll tell you what products I’m using and give you my honest opinions on them without affiliate links all over the place. I also hope to publish an update on my progress at least twice a week.
What I want to do is share. I think life’s better like that. I’ve always had this urge to pass on information to people that I’ve found useful in the hopes that they will be able to make use of it and improve things for themselves. Life’s not always about money is it? That being said, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to make more money. No point in my learning this whole internet marketing thing otherwise but it’s not my sole motivation in life. Here’s the reason why….
In my life, I think I’ve been pretty lucky. I’ve been married coming up 28 years and have two fantastic boys of 25 and 20. In that time I served as police officer for 20 years before being disabled out without so much as a by-your-leave. Thanks very much for coming, it’s been fun, next please. I was out of work at 41 years old and living in police accommodation. Scared? Oh yes. You have no idea how insular the police force (yes-force. I can’t be doing with all this lefty, namby pamby politically correct nonsense) is. Having said that, Service is probably the correct word now as the job has as much force as a soggy paper bag.
But I got on with it. I got myself an enforcement job with a local authority 10 minutes away from where I live and I’m happy as Larry. Being free of the police force opened up my eyes to so many other possibilities.
